This integration gives you access to an alternative and profitable channel to receive incremental orders at no additional cost.
How am I enrolled?

Many of our small business customers (with less than 5 locations) have been automatically enrolled into the program FREE OF CHARGE as part of our early adopter program
- Prior to your enrollment, your location's main point of contact will receive THREE emails including your launch date and instructions for signing up with Stripe (for order payment processing)
How does Restaurant Direct work?

Customers find your restaurant through Google Search or Maps

They select items from your Google menu & complete the transaction within the Google ecosystem

ItsaCheckmate has already done the heavy lifting and has integrated the restaurant’s POS Menu to your Google Menu & Pickup orders are automatically being sent directly to your kitchen

Menus are the same as your other ordering platforms and are all managed in your POS or our customer portal (exactly the same as Doordash, Uber, and Grubhub - if on API).
How much does it cost?

We are providing this solution at no cost for businesses with less than five locations

No service fees and no change to the integration subscription

Only the standard Stripe processing fees will apply @ 2.9% + $0.30 - since payment is being processed on behalf of the restaurant
What if I wish to integrate self-delivery orders as well?

We can support that and just need confirmation from you that you wish to receive delivery orders through Google as well
- NOTE: At this time, the delivery zone can only be set for the zip code you are in. We are currently working on allowing this to be set on radius and will have this available soon.
Who is responsible for processing an end-user/customer refund?

If you have NOT set up your own STRIPE account to process Google order payments, then ItsaCheckmate will need to process the refund for the customer. This will likely be the case for most people who call and do not know what Order with Google or Restaurant Direct Is

If you HAVE set up your own STRIPE account, then you are responsible for processing the refund
Who is responsible for remitting sales tax?
- You (the restaurant) are responsible for remitting Sales Tax. It is being charged and collected with the transaction and remitted directly to you to remit those tax dollars to the applicable jurisdiction(s).
How can I access my Order with Google transaction details and statements?
- Transactions are injected directly into your POS which is the best place to view the details of these orders. Your Stripe account will also provide some data related to payment details.
How do I get paid?

You need to sign up for your own Stripe account (see below). Once you do so, any revenue generated previously will be transferred to your account

If you wish to opt out and not create a Stripe account, then please provide us with the following information so we can issue you a check:

Do I need to do anything else?

Yes! If you have NOT yet set up your STRIPE account, you must do so to ensure the amount collected from these orders is automatically credited to your bank account directly (unless you wish to opt-out and have us continue to process on your behalf)

I have an existing Stripe account. Do I need to create a new one for ItsaCheckmate?
No, you can connect an existing account by following the link, clicking start and entering the existing account details.
Once you verify your account, you can either select the account you wish to connect or create a new Stripe account for ItsaCheckmate using the same login details.
To begin, click here, select 'Start' and simply follow the prompts. You may be asked to fill out additional information per Stripe's guidelines.
Can I opt out entirely of Restaurant Direct by ItsaCheckmate?
Yes, you can opt-out entirely by clicking HERE and we will stop the Order with Google integration immediately. However, we really hope you’ll stay and experience the platform for free with us.
What if I am being asked for a verification code and I don't have one?
If you are getting a request for a verification code it means that a Stripe account has already been set up with that email address.

Stripe sends a verification code to the cell phone number on file with Stripe for that account.

The verification code (usually a 6-digit one) is sent via text--the text should say it is from Stripe but it may not be obvious that it is from Stripe until you click into it.
