What is Direct Sync by ItsaCheckmate?

Direct Sync by ItsaCheckmate is our newest integration product which allows you to manage your menu and most menu settings directly from your POS. Updates to your integrated ordering platforms happen every hour automatically (if menu updates are detected) or can be initiated by you in the ItsaCheckmate Portal!

How do I know if my location is on Direct Sync by ItsaCheckmate integration?

You are on our Direct Sync by ItsaCheckmate integration if:

1. You recently worked directly with our Direct Sync team to convert your location(s) from the Legacy integration to Direct Sync by ItsaCheckmate

2. Your POS is Toast, Brink, Revel, Clover, Square, SpotOn, and Heartland and you reviewed and completed a Direct Sync Settings Checklist as part of your onboarding process

How do I make changes to my ordering platform menus?

All menu item/modifier changes must be done DIRECTLY IN YOUR POS.

ItsaCheckmate will sync with your POS on an HOURLY basis. If changes are detected, your integrated ordering platform menus will be updated instantly!

Can’t wait an hour? No problem! Just follow these steps:

1. Make the menu change(s) in your POS - don’t forget to Publish Changes if your POS requires it

2. Log in to the ItsaCheckmate Portal

3. Click on Sync with POS

4. Once Sync is complete, click on Push to Online Platform(s) for updates to be reflected on online menus

   

How do I mark items as sold out (86’d)?

Toast POS

Mark items/modifiers as sold out DIRECTLY in your Toast backend or terminal!

ItsaCheckmate polls your POS for sold-out items EVERY 5 minutes. If any are detected, ItsaCheckmate will instantly update the item availability and mark it as sold out on all integrated ordering platform menus.

All Other POS Systems

Easily mark the items/modifiers as sold out in the ItsaCheckmate Portal.
