Menu Push Failure occurs when the attempt to push menu changes made in the ItsaCheckmate Portal to the Online Ordering Platforms is unsuccessful.
Why did this Menu Push Failure Error occur?
Menu Push Failure usually occurs when an Item with required modifiers is made available, but the necessary modifiers are marked as Out of Stock in the POS for Direct Sync integration or within the ItsaCheckmate Portal for Legacy integration. As a result, the Item is made available on the online menu, but the modifiers required to be selected for that item are not available.
Example:
An item Cheese Pizza has a required modifier category, i.e., Choose a Size: Small, Medium, and Large. The item has become Out of Stock.
If all of the modifiers belonging to the modifier category Choose a Size are marked as Out of Stock rather than marking the Item as Out of Stock, it will result in a Menu Push Failure.
How to troubleshoot the Menu Push Failure Error?
To troubleshoot the Menu Push Failure Error:
-
Mark the Item with required modifiers as Out of Stock in the POS system for Direct Sync Integration or within the ItsaCheckmate Portal for Legacy Integration
Or
-
Mark the required modifiers for the individual item as available in the POS system for Direct Sync Integration or within the ItsaCheckmate Portal for Legacy Integration
