Price updates are NOT made within the ItsaCheckmate Portal since they are normally set at the POS (Point Of Sale) (more often) or on the Ordering Platforms (less often).
Note: We do not support manual pricing - or assigning unique prices for each item/modifier on your online menus. Prices will always originate from the POS itself.
You do have the option of applying a percentage elevation to all of your menu items and modifiers. Please inform our team if you would like to use the percentage elevation feature.
Legacy Integration:
If you manage your menu entirely from the ItsaCheckmate Portal, follow the below-mentioned procedure to update the prices:
Step 1: Change the prices in the POS system.
Step 2: Email support@itsacheckmate.com to alert us about the price changes. (No need to call out specific menu item prices) Normally, the standard turnaround time is 24-48 hours.
Step 3: Our Menu Management team will check the POS menu structure against the Ordering Platform menus, resync the menu, and will then push the updated pricing to the Ordering Platforms.
Note:
- If you are using the price elevation feature within the ItsaCheckmate Portal, then the POS prices will automatically be inflated by that % within the directly integrated ordering platform menus.
- For Ordering Platforms for which we do not have access to their merchant portal OR if they do not have a merchant portal, please email your price change request to the ordering platform support team directly and ‘cc’ support@itsacheckmate.com.
Direct Sync Integration:
If you manage your menu from the POS, prices are pulled directly from your POS into our system and pushed to your directly integrated ordering platforms (the platforms managed within the ItsaCheckmate Portal). For your indirectly integrated platforms, you must manually update the prices in their merchant portals.

Log in to the ItsaCheckmate Portal

Go to your location menu

Select ‘Sync with POS’ - you will receive an email confirming that the sync has been completed. POS Syncs normally take between 5 - 15 minutes.

Email support@itsacheckmate.com informing ItsaCheckmate of the price changes and our support team will update the prices on the indirect platform merchant portals on your behalf OR you can update the prices yourself if you’d like
