The method for making changes to your ordering platform menus varies based on two things:
- POS integration type - Direct Sync vs. Legacy
- Ordering platform integration type - Automated vs. Manual
Direct Sync - Automated Ordering Platform Integration

Menu changes should be made directly in the POS - the ordering platform menus will automatically update when the systems sync every hour OR you can initiate a sync and then push to ordering platforms within the ItsaCheckmate Portal

Setting delivery hours and setting an ordering platform online/offline should be done in the ItsaCheckmate Portal.
Direct Sync - Manual Ordering Platform Integration
Menu Changes
The ItsaCheckmate menu updates team will be automatically notified by our system whenever it detects that menu changes have been made in your POS. They will then update your manually integrated menus for you - as long as we have edit access to the respective ordering platform merchant portal.
If we do not have access (in the case of the ordering platform managing the menu on the restaurant’s behalf), please contact the ordering platform support team directly to request the menu change and email support@itsacheckmate.com to inform our menu updates team of the request. Once the ordering platform support team confirms that the changes have been made, our team will update accordingly within the ItsaCheckmate system.

Other Changes
Other changes to manually integrated platforms such as delivery hours, item availability, etc. must be made directly in the respective ordering platform merchant portal.
You should make these changes directly or you can reach out to support@itsacheckmate.com for the ItsaCheckmate team to make these changes on your behalf (as long as our team has access to the respective merchant portal).

Add new items(modifiers) or make changes to existing items(modifiers) in your POS *It is critical to complete this first before moving on to Step 2 - Do NOT skip this step *

Add the same items(modifiers) or make the same changes within the ItsaCheckmate Portal

Additions/Changes will be added to the ‘Request Queue’ for mapping

Our support team will map the items within 24-48 hours and PUSH the changes to the ordering platforms

Our support team will manually add the items(modifiers) or make the changes within the ordering platform merchant portal and map the items within 24-48 hours and notify you once the mappings are completed *This can only be done for menus for which we have full editing access - if not, you must request the item additions/changes directly from the respective ordering platform support and ‘cc’ ItsaCheckmate support

The changes will then be active on the ordering platform menu
*Note: Menu edits for 10 items or more may take longer than 24-48 hours
